Easter Eggtastic Weekend |
Easter craft, Easter egg hunts with prizes for kids, teen! The Easter Bunny will be visiting the campground this weekend too! Join him on a hayride through the campground. Pot Luck Dinner Social. Bring a dish to share with everyone. Parents bring your cameras to the dinner because the Easter Bunny will be there for pictures and to give out a treat for all the kids! Following dinner will be our first Bingo of the season. |

Cinema Movie Weekend |
Time to watch some great movies!!! It's all about movies this weekend. We'll have movie themed games and there will be a movie scavenger hunt for the whole family. Saturday night we'll have family movie night with popcorn, bring your own drinks. Bring a blanket or towel to sit on or just sit on the chairs at the tables. |

Kids/Teens Weekend |
This weekend we will have lots of fun activities for kids and teens. Adults watch and cheer on the kids as they compete in fun indoor and outdoor events. Including… a pie eating contest, a marshmallow art contest, and a Manhunt! Noah’s Animal Workshop ($) will be here. Come create your own cuddly new friend to love and cherish forever!! Saturday evening we'll have a Kids and Teen only dance with a DJ. |

Trout Rodeo Weekend |
Book your sites early as we fill up fast for this weekend. Fishing contest for kids and adults, with prizes and trophies. Will you catch the biggest trout? Will you catch the first 3 trout? Then let’s play some Fishing games. You must stay overnight to participate in the Rodeo. THE RESTAURANT IS OPEN! Welcome "Firepit"!! A Fish Fry Dinner Saturday night in the restaurant ($). Proceeds will be donated to the fight against Cancer. |

Adult and Spring Yard Sale Weekend |
That's right, as they say; one man’s trash is another man’s treasure! Bring your yard sale items and set them up right on your site from 9am-1pm, come get some great bargains! They yard sale is open to the public. Adult Crafts, Adult only scavenger hunt! Adults only dance Saturday evening with the Band Smokin. While the adults are at the dance, the kids, will have a blast playing Manhunt! |

Mothers Day with Together Show

This weekend is all about the Moms. All kinds of Moms! Moms, Grand Moms or Great Grand Moms. Whether you are the Mom of a kid or a Mom of a pet! To us, you are all special Moms! Pamper Mom this weekend with a massage. Send mom on a girls shopping trip right in the campground. Representatives for companies like Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, Premier Designs and Tastefully Simple will be here. (If you work for a company like this and would like to set up your own table, contact us before April 30th.) Take Mom for an afternoon ride on a horse drawn wagon from our friends at BEE TREE TRAILS ($). Saturday evening Together will be here. If you've not seen them before your in for a real treat. A Dance, Music and Floor show. Be prepared to have lots of fun & laughs. This is a must see event! Bring Mom to breakfast in the Restaurant on Sunday morning. She’ll get a free breakfast special! |

Comedy / Economy Weekend

Do you own a business or have a home business? Do you make hand made crafts? Let’s help our friends and neighbors in this tough economy. We'll be setting up tables in the hall for you to advertise and sell your business or products. No charge for the table time, but you must donate an item or items for door prizes and you must pre-register with the office by May 9th. Saturday evening we'll be having the AL Grout Show. It's a bit of magic, juggling and comedy and a great show for the entire family. Any comedians out there? Come show off your funnies after the Al Grout show; sign up during the day at the office. |

Appalachians Got Talent |
Do you have a special talent? Do you sing, dance, play an instrument, comedy or something else? Whatever talent you have, bring it to our Talent Show. All ages and any talent. Prizes for the best talent. You must pre-register in the office and bring your own music/CD. We'll have fun and games all day then have our talent show where you can showcase your talent. Between acts we will open the karaoke mic to anyone who might want to sing for fun. An Adult Social will follow the show. |

Memorial Day Weekend |
The Pool is Open!!! We have a lot going on this fun filled holiday weekend. Pool games, sports, and games. Hot dog eating contest! One for kids, one for adults. Our Annual Memorial Day Horseshoe Tournament for adults, Mini Golf tournament for both adults and kids. Site decorating contest, winners for both weekend and seasonal guests. Saturday night, dance the night away with the fabulous Band PULSE. We'll have a Chinese Auction ($) on Sunday evening with lots of great items. This weekend is all about the Pets. We'll have pet games, competitions, etc. Dress them up in their best costumes, as they'll have their own parade and judging for costumes. We'll also be having our first Golf Cart Challenge for Adults only-- best decorated contest, obstacle course, blind backwards team event and more. Saturday evening we'll have a dessert social in the pavilion. That's right kids, no more homework!!! Come celebrate, we'll have fun games all day including some pool games, sand volleyball and a great scavenger hunt. Saturday evening we'll have a smashing fun pool party with DJ just for kids and teens. Adults can head into the hall and have fun during a Wii Bowling Tournament. |

Independence Day Weekend

Come to Appalachian to celebrate our nations Independence. Bring out all your Red, White, and blue and decorate your site. We will judge the sites and have a winner for our weekend guests as well as our seasonal campers. Decorate those bikes, golf carts, pets and yourself, we'll be having our Independence Day parade. We'll have winners for best dressed walkers, golf carts, pets and bikes. We will have our Annual July 4th Horseshoe Tournament. Saturday evening we'll have a family dance with the BAND SMOKIN. The MILLER-KEYSTONE BLOOD MOBILE will be here this holiday weekend. Donate a pint and save a life! Noah’s Animal Workshop ($) will be here. **Take part in our 3rd Annual Stroll and Roll which will be held on Saturday morning. This event is to help raise funds for our Family Fun Carnival which is held in August which donates the proceeds to fight cancer and Shriners. Preceding the stroll and roll, a new Appalachian tradition will take place. The Release of the Butterflies, which are in honor or in memory of loved ones who have battled any kind of illness. It is a beautiful moment that you will never forget. |

This weekend is all about chocolate. Join us for tons of chocolate themed activities. Activities for kids and adults as well. Take a ride down our chocolate slip and slide! We will have a Chocolate Social and dance. Bring your favorite chocolate dessert to share. Work off of all those chocolate calories by dancing the night away with the band, "DANCE" in our pool pavilion. Country Hoe Down Weekend |
Find those cowboy hats and boots and mosey on over to a fun filled weekend of country games. Football toss through the toilet seat, 3 legged races, watermelon seed spitting contest, tug of war, and more. Saturday night get on dancing shoes, your best western wear and kick up those heels and come on over to Johnny Appleseed Hall for a night of dancing with the City Slickers and Country Kickers Band, they'll also show us how to line dance. We'll have prizes for the best dressed adult and child cowboy, adult and child cowgirl. We’ll even have horse drawn covered wagon rides from BEE TREE TRAILS! ($) |

Christmas and New Years Eve in July Weekend |
It may be warm outside but at Appalachian it's Christmas and New Years all over again. Bring out those Christmas trees and decorations. Site-decorating contest. Prizes will be given to the best decorated site for both weekend and seasonal campers. Ride the hayride with Santa Clause (if it's not too hot) We'll have a Christmas gathering with gifts from Santa (bring a gift for anyone of any age, must be under $20.00, wrapped with first and last name on package and brought ahead of time to the hall for Santa to pass out) Don’t forget your cameras. Then we'll have a New Years Eve Dance party, that's right, let's watch the ball drop and bring in 2010 all over again and we'll dance in the New Year with a DJ, so break out your hats, horns and blowers and bring them to our New Years Party |

Carnival Weekend |
This weekend is our FAMILY FUN CARNIVAL! This is an old fashioned carnival filled with lots of delicious food, games, prizes, clowns, dunk tank, cake walk, and music. This event is organized and staffed by our wonderful Seasonal Campers. Each year it's an event that provides great fun and wonderful memories. The proceeds from this event will be donated to an organization that is dedicated to fight Cancer and to the Shriners. The recipient of this year’s donation will be announced at a later date. |

Calling all Cooks, yes it's that time again to have our annual Chili and Ribs cook off. Do you make the best chili? Ribs? If you think you do, come on over and show us. Cookie decorating contest for kids. We'll crown our winners for Chili, Ribs and the kid’s cookies, in several categories. After we have our judging we'll have a fun potluck dinner, bring a dish to share, followed by a social get together. We'll have plenty of activities for the kids as well. Appalachian Halloween Weekends

Join us for three full weekends of Halloween Fun. All three weekends will include: pumpkin carving, costume parade, costume judging, trick or treating throughout the campground, hay rides and crafts. Bring your best witches, pumpkins, ghosts and ghouls to decorate your site in the site-decorating contest. Each weekend a winner will be chosen for the best decorated weekend guest site and seasonal site.
In addition: Halloween Weekend I, we will be scarecrow making. Halloween Weekends I and II, we will have a Haunted House that gets better every year. On Halloween Weekend III, we'll have a family costume "DANCE". You don't have to be in costume to come but we'd love it. We'll also have prizes in various age groups for costumes at each dance.
