The water is turned on and we are ready to start a new season here at Appalachian Campsites Resort. Friday night will be our first Bingo Night of the season. |

April 11th-13th--Easter/Welcome Back Seasonal and Staff Dinner Weekend
This weekend we will have an Easter Egg Hunt for kids ages 1 to 12, an Easter theme kids craft and other great Easter theme activities. A Seasonal and Staff Welcome Back Dinner Saturday night. Please sign up for the dinner in the store before April 6th |

**April 18th-20th--Trout Rodeo Weekend**
Fishing contest for kids and adults, with prizes and trophies. You must stay overnight to participate in the Rodeo. A Fish Fry Dinner Saturday night ($). |

April 25th-27th–Garden State Square Dancing/Pirate Weekend
Garden State Square Dancers in the hall Friday evening and Saturday. We will have kids and adult treasure hunts as well as other Pirate themed activities this weekend. There will be NO Bingo this weekend. |

May 2nd-4th–Bingo, Bingo, Bingo Weekend
Bingo all weekend long. Friday night Bingo will kick off the weekend. Saturday morning we will have Package Bingo. Saturday afternoon we will have Candy Bingo (for everyone) and Saturday evening will be Basket Bingo!! |

May 9th-11th–Mother’s Day Weekend
This weekend is for you Mom! Enjoy a weekend filled with activities with you in mind. Kids, you can make a Mother’s Day craft for Mom this weekend. Saturday afternoon enjoy some fun Mother/Child games at the ball field. Dad bring Mom to the Johnny Appleseed Hall on Saturday evening for a romantic dance with DJ Kantner Entertainment while the kids watch a movie at the activity house. |

May 16th-18th–All American Weekend
If you are a member or a retired member of the armed forces, police, fire department or an EMT - this weekend is in your honor. Your weekend will be ½ price campsite rental with proof of membership. Be sure to join us in our 6th Annual Heroes Parade. The Miller-Keystone Bloodmobile will be here. If you are over 17 you can be a hero and save life by donating blood!! This weekend we will also have a miniature golf tournament. Scrap Booking workshop this weekend BRING YOUR PICTURES! Prizes for the most decorated patriotic site. |

**May 23rd-26th–Memorial Day Weekend**
Come to Appalachian Campsites Resort to enjoy the first major holiday of the summer of 2008! THE POOL IS OPEN!!! The weekend will include a campground-wide Yard Sale, which is open to the public. Be sure to bring lots of stuff to sell at your campsite. Yard Sale site maps will be given out Saturday morning so be sure to tell us if you will be selling when you make your site or rental unit reservation. The folks from Ray’s Archery School will be giving a demonstration and providing archery lessons to all ages. We will have our Annual Memorial Day Horseshoe Tournament. We will also be having a Memorial Day weekend Dance with the band San Antonio Rose. We will also have a Chinese Auction ($) this weekend. |

May 30th-June 1st–Schools Out For Summer Weekend
No more teachers, no more books! Celebrate the end of the school year with a party at Appalachian! Have some fun by the pool with DJ JUKEBOX JR! Saturday night. Participate in the School’s-Out Scavenger Hunt. Come and join us this for the fun activities this weekend. |

June 6th-8th–Together Weekend
Come this weekend and enjoy a show with Together– A Dance Music and Floor show with a group that performs music from the 50's, 60's, Country, Classic Rock and Top 40 Music. This group is fun for ALL AGES!! |

June 13th-15th–Father’s Day Weekend
Dads, this weekend is for you! Bring your kids to the pond for our Father’s Day Fishing Tournament. Kids can make a Father’s Day craft for Dad this weekend. On Saturday afternoon Rays Archery will be here for an Archery demonstration. Mom bring Dad on over to the Johnny Appleseed Hall for a romantic Dance with DJ Soundstorm while the kids watch a movie in the Activity House. |

**June 20th-22nd–Aloha Weekend**
Break out the grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts! Enjoy a day filled with Polynesian themed fun! Who can Limbo the lowest? Who can Hula Hoop the longest? Come hungry to our Luau, which will include a traditional Pig Roast ($) and a night filled with music and dancing. Come dressed in your Polynesian best and you could win if your outfit is voted the best! Make your reservation for the Pig Roast when you make your site or rental unit reservation. |

June 27th-29th–Adult Weekend
This is a weekend with all activities planned around our adult campers. We will have a Scrap booking Workshop so be sure to bring some photos you want to keep dear through the years. If you are 21 years of age and up, head over to Johnny Appleseed Hall for a Wine and Cheese Party which will have DJ Kantner Entertainment Saturday evening.. |

**July 3rd-6th–Independence Day Weekend**
Come to Appalachian Campsites Resort to celebrate our nations independence. Bring out all your Red, White, and blue and decorate your site. We will judge the sites and have a winner for our weekend guests as well as our seasonal guests. We will have our Annual July 4th Horseshoe Tournament. Take part in our 2nd Annual Stroll and Roll. This event is to help raise funds for our Family Fun Carnival which is held in August. The Stroll and Roll will take place during our Fourth of July Parade so be sure to decorate your bicycles and golf carts. Come to Johnny Appleseed Hall for the Independence Day Dance with the band San Antonio Rose. We will also have a Basket Bingo ($) this weekend. |

July 11th-13th–Western Weekend
Find those Cowboy Hats and boots and mosey on down to Appalachian Campsites Resort for a Western Weekend. Roping, fishing, and dancing are just a few of the great things we will be doing this weekend! Come to the dance with Tammy Lynn dressed in your western best and be ready to kick up your heels. Garden State Square Dancers are back this weekend Friday Night and Saturday. NO BINGO FRIDAY EVENING! |

July 18th-20th–Wet and Wacky Weekend
Staff vs. Guest Water Wars. Bring your water guns and if you see an Appalachian Campsite resort staff member wearing a “STAFF” shirt, they are fare game to get with your water gun. Just be aware – they will have water guns to so they can get you just as wet as you get them! We will have a Scrap booking Workshop so be sure to bring some photos you want to keep dear through the years. Have fun at the afternoon water games. Teens (Ages 13-19) head on over to the pool Saturday evening for a DJ. |

**July 25th-27th–Christmas In July Weekend**
Break out the Christmas trees, blow up the Rudolph and glittery garland and deck the halls with boughs of holly. It’s Christmas in July at Appalachian Campsites Resort! It may be warm, but we will be having a fun weekend filled with Christmas cheer! Participate in our site-decorating contest. Prizes will be given to the best weekend guest site and the seasonal campsite. Ride the hayride with Jolly St. Nick! The folks from Ray’s archery School will be giving a demonstration and providing archery lessons to all ages. Bring your best holiday dish to the Johnny Appleseed Hall for our Christmas Covered Dish Supper. Drop off your Christmas gifts in the Hall gift MUST be under $15.00! |

August 1st-3rd–Family Fun Carnival Weekend
This weekend is our FAMILY FUN CARNIVAL! This is an old fashioned carnival filled with lots of delicious food, games, prizes, clowns, a dunk tank cake walk, and music. This event is organized and staffed by our wonderful Seasonals each year. Each year it is an event that provides great fun and wonderful memories. The proceeds from this event will be donated to an organization that is dedicated to fight Cancer and to the Shriners. The recipient of this year’s donation will be announced at a later date. |

August 8th-10th–Olympics Weekend
In honor of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China we will have our 4th Annual Kids Olympics this weekend. Who will win the Gold, Silver and Bronze? The Olympics are in three age categories Ages 1-6, Ages 7-12, and Ages 13-18. THE BOYS COMPETE AGAINST THE GIRLS! Parents be sure to bring your signs and come to the Olympics to cheer on your little Olympians!! |

August 15th-17th–Mardi Gras Weekend

**August 22nd-24th–10th Annual NASCAR Weekend**
Come to Appalachian Campsites Resort and join us for our 10th Annual NASCAR Weekend Celebration!
This is a weekend filled from top to bottom with fun and exciting racing activities. We will have our 10th Annual Appalachian Mini-Grand Prix and this year we have added a new age category for ADULTS! So be sure to bring your matchbox and hot wheels cars so that you can compete in this event. Come and watch the races on the BIG SCREEN PROJECTION TV in the Hall. We will have a crack the code scavenger hunt, racing polls and buy a chance to win a weekend at the October Martinsville race. Be sure to book your reservations early because this weekend fills up fast. |

**August 28th-September 1s–Labor Day Weekend**
It is the last major holiday weekend in the summer of 2008. Spend it with us here at Appalachian Campsites Resort. This weekend will include a campground-wide Yard Sale, which is open to the public. Be sure to bring lots of stuff to sell at your campsite. September 6th-8th–Back To School Weekend
Well it’s that time of year again It’s Back To School. Come to Appalachian campsites this weekend and enjoy a weekend with the Back To School Scavenger Hunt, Basketball, Sand Volleyball, Softball, and Touch Football. |

September 12th-14th--Cook-Off Weekend
Cooks of all kinds - this weekend is for you. We will have a Cook-Off weekend. Chili, ribs, and desserts. Who will make the best chili, ribs and dessert? The winners in each category will receive a prize. We will kick off the weekend with the crowning of our cooks. |

September 19th-21st –Bike Weekend
Rev up those motorcycles and join us for our first ever Bike Weekend at Appalachian! Activities this weekend will include a motorcycle cruise through the campground, then cut to the open road through the Blue Mountains and adjacent areas. For the kids we will have our Bicycle Rodeo. Bring your bicycle and helmets to participate in this fun rodeo where your riding skills and your knowledge of bicycle safety will be put to the test. |

September 26th-28th –Autumn Weekend
The leaves are turning, the mums are blooming, the air is getting crisp and the kids are back in school, fall has arrived. Join us this weekend as we celebrate Autumn. Enjoy a weekend filled with football, apple bobbing, and a cool night around the bonfire. The kids have been in school for a few weeks - bring them to the campground for some well deserved fun on this fall weekend. |

**Appalachian Halloween Weekends**
October 3rd - October 19th
Join us for three full weekends of Halloween Fun. Each Halloween Weekend will include: pumpkin carving, costume parade, costume judging, trick or treating throughout the campground, hay rides and either a Haunted House or Haunted Walk. Bring your best ghouls, ghosts and creepy crawly critters to decorate your site in the site-decorating contest. Each weekend a winner will be chosen for the best decorated weekend guest site and seasonal guest site. In addition to these activities we will have a few additional items added to the schedule such as a costume dance on October 18th with DJ Soundstorm. Look for updates to this schedule for this weekend. Book your sites early– these weekends sell out early in the season. |

October 24th - 26th – King Frost Parade Weekend
A favorite local event that takes places in historic downtown Hamburg. Come and see this parade it is an event that you won’t want to miss. |
